"Today, in a Senate hearing, former FBI Director James Comey had the opportunity to comment on many facets of his professional relationship with President Trump. He also weighed-in with his thoughts on Russian meddling in American political computer networks during the timeframe surrounding the 2016 election. The former Director refused, under multiple avenues of questioning, to state that the President impeded or obstructed any investigations. I hope that we can now move on from the political theatrics of this hearing and return the focus to the important policy work being done to improve the lives of the American people." You're a damn liar. Why? Here's why: "Comey: I took it as an order when Trump told me to drop Flynn investigation". Comey recalled that, at that Oval Office meeting, the president said: "I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go." "I took it as a direction," Comey told the Senate hearing Thursday. "I mean, this is a president of the United States with me alone saying, 'I hope this.' Your dedication to assuring more American citizens die is clear. The Republican Goal: Kill Americans for Tax Cuts for the already enormously wealthy. The Republican AHCA plan is a moral monstrosity. Republicans are monsters. Global Warming just won't kill people fast enough. Your "Tax Bill", disguised as a "Health Care Bill", will result in 220,000 Americans deaths when 23M lose coverage. Many others will be bankrupt after going, as Republicans recommend, to the emergency room. Reference: "Here's how many people could die if Trumpcare becomes law -- On the Republican Budget Compassion for the Wealthy Mick Mulvaney, Trump's Director of the OMB (Office of Management and Budget), says Republicans want more "compassion" for wealthy taxpayers, instead of compassion for those who in poverty, homeless, and sick. The Republican mantra is that those are the "takers". Mulvaney said, "you have to have compassion for the folks who are paying" taxes. This article I wrote documents that the U.S. already has enormous "compassion" for the wealthy "takers". Tax Expenditure Entitlements They don't pay much of what they'd otherwise pay in taxes thanks to Tax Expenditures. It reveals them to be the "takers" and that the "culture of dependency" is for the wealthy. Much of what we're told about government spending, debt, and worker pay are lies. The problem, Republicans say, is "entitlements" like Social Security and Medicare that are "going broke." Lie! The truth is that these programs are in surplus and have been paid for by those who receive them. On the other hand, there are "free stuff" gifts that aren't paid for. Alan Greenspan called Tax Expenditures, Tax Entitlements. They are essentially entitlements, because they're not voted on every year in a budget; they're there forever unless somehow voted out, which they rarely, if ever, are.
- Tax Expenditures are 10% greater that ALL Discretionary Spending funded by income taxes - Tax Breaks for the top 20% are more than Military Spending: over 1/2 of Discretionary Spending. - One-sixth of Tax Expenditures go to the top 1%: that's 2.7X SNAP benefits. Tax Breaks for the wealthy creates a "culture of dependency" ... for the most well-off. Therefore, the problem is obviously not food stamps or Meals on Wheels or NPR/PBS. The problem isn't too high taxes; it's Tax Breaks. Tax Loopholes are so large that the Loopholes are Bigger than the Loop. We need "Tax Break Resistance", not "Tax Resistance".
Your budget "Compassion" will result in *more* death ... see cuts above at right. You are no representative of mine, nor of the vast majority of the American people, instead you represent your wealthy donors whose taxes you'll cut. I'll not say anything about you that Trump hasn't said about journalists. I will say about you what he has said about them.
